A prepaid payment card is a card you load with money before using it. You can then pay or withdraw cash within the available balance and your card's limits. With PCS, no overdraft is possible: you only spend the money available and manage your card in MyPCS.

PCS offers several prepaid payment cards to suit how you use them. PCS Chrome focuses on a low price, PCS Black supports your everyday spending and PCS Absolut combines a card with more complete services, including a French IBAN. For a digital-only card, you can choose the PCS Virtual Card or the PCS Absolut Virtual Card depending on the services you need.

A traditional bank card is usually linked to a bank account from which your payments are debited. A prepaid card works with an amount loaded in advance onto the card or the associated payment account. You therefore cannot spend more than the available balance, which helps you keep better control of your budget and avoid going overdrawn.

Start by choosing and buying your PCS card. Then activate your card, create your My Account area on mypcs.com or in the MyPCS app, and verify your identity to get full access to the features and limits of your offer. Depending on the card you choose, your area can also be created directly when you buy it.
