A cryptocurrency is a digital asset usually based on a technology called blockchain. Unlike the euro, it is not legal tender in France and its value can rise or fall sharply. Bitcoin and Ethereum are among the best-known crypto-assets.
Cryptocurrencies usually rely on a blockchain, a digital ledger used to record and validate transactions. How they work varies with each crypto-asset and its protocol. Their value depends in particular on supply and demand and can fluctuate significantly.
There is no ideal amount that suits everyone. Before investing in crypto, consider your financial situation, your goals and above all your ability to bear a loss. Crypto-assets are highly volatile and risky investments: do not invest money you might need.
To use PCS Crypto, you must hold a PCS card and have a 100% verified profile. Then log in to MyPCS, open PCS Crypto and choose the cryptocurrency and the amount you want. You can then track your transactions directly in your personal area.
In PCS Crypto, go to the “Buy” section, select the crypto you want, then enter the amount of your purchase. You can use your PCS card or EURCV depending on the options offered, then confirm the transaction in MyPCS.
PCS Crypto currently offers four crypto-assets: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and EURCV. EURCV is a stablecoin backed by the euro. Find the available assets and their details directly in MyPCS.
