Fake ads, fake online support… No rest for the scammers! More than ever, we ask you to be and remain vigilant.

Trendy scams

To help you see things more clearly, we have listed the new scams that are in vogue on the Internet. We will explain to you afterwards the good gestures to adopt to avoid falling into the trap.

The fake PCS online support scam

Scammers do not lack imagination to try to get your personal or banking information. As a reminder, there is only one number to contact customer service: 0 811 880 200, and only one contact email address: contact@creacard.net.

If you are contacted on social media, make sure you are addressing the official PCS accounts (blue badge on Facebook and Instagram). Know that no counselor will ask you for your card banking information or login credentials for your “my account” space.

The (overly) tempting ad

Dating sites or classified ads are full of very attractive profiles that often seem unreal… They are often scammers who will try by all means to get you. Beware, and never send money or a coupon to a person you meet on the internet.

A classic, phishing

The principle of this scam consists in recovering your personal data on the Internet (connection access, bank data, official documents).

The scam is most frequently based on the forgery of an e-mail that seems to come from a trusted source (bank, CAF, taxes, etc.) accompanied by an alarming subject: “account restricted” – “your bank card is blocked” – “order being delivered” etc.

When in doubt, do not reply and do not click on any link in the body of the e-mail. Notify the organization in question by forwarding the message to them.
